RTD Board Meets the last Tuesday in June

It is unclear whether the board will be voting on closing bus stops at this meeting or if that will take place in August.

As always, there will be some time for the public to address the board near the start of the meeting. Each individual gets three minutes each.

Should RTD cut bus stops and the D Line?

40 is a short walk away.

RTD is proposing cutting stops on the 40 and 105, but most of the stops that are being cut are not near this location.

Greyhound may stop on Market Street.

Denver is pushing to close a couple of the busiest stops along Broadway, and RTD is going along even though it appears that RTD isn't getting anything out of the deal.

Littleton Downtown Station is within walking distance. C and D light rail stations and the buses (29, 36, 59, 67) that stop there.

The D Line may stop going to Five Points. This will also be discussed at the meeting listed next.

HOP at its own stop.

They are going to discontinue the historic part of the 206. Also the 209 will no longer go near the Table Mesa ParknRide. The 236 will provide replacement service to Table Mesa for CU students, but the working class people who used to depend on the 206 are still out of luck.
