New Mexico is developing a state rail plan, and train riders there are concerned that they are being ignored. The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is saying that there is no demand for rail in New Mexico even though more than a million people rode the Rail Runner and the Southwest Chief is often full. We need to make our support for the Southwest Chief and the Rail Runner clear. Please send an email to Rail.Plan@state.nm.us before January 3, 2014.
You do not need to be a resident of New Mexico, you just need to ride the trains there.
