Every year in October the City of Lakewood hosts a brown bag lunch series of documentaries on urban planning. This film of how car companies bought public transportation systems around the country and dismantled them is famous, and I am looking forward to seeing it.
The next step is getting people in Lakewood's planning department to actually implement the insights of the documentaries they show into their plans.
